When using a browser, data are being stored. This is called caching. The information may sometimes be incomplete, or prevent the storing of new information. E.g.: you just completed a course, but in the browser the status still shows as 'Started'. When you clear your browser cache, the latest version of the page or software will appear. Clearing cache can allow the correct data to be shown and problems to be solved.
Below, you will find instructions for clearing cache in various browsers:
Internet Explorer

- Click on: Safety > Delete Browsing history or General > Delete (depending on the IE version you are using)
- Tick the boxes for the data you want to delete.
- Shortcut: Ctrl + Shift + Del
Google Chrome
